NOEL! A FRENCH CHRISTMAS IS COMING YOUR WAY…
…if you live in the Boston or Schenectady area. Our angel sources tell us that ticket sales are running ahead of last year’s. So we recommend shopping quickly for the Boston/North Shore run for a chance to hear uniquely Gallic musical joy by Anne and her wonderful soloists. See you there?
“No one is born hating another person…
“…because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”
— Nelson MANDELA, 1918- 2013
We pay respectful homage to Madiba.

CAMERATA’S FRENCH CHRISTMAS MUSIC RETURNS TO BOSTON
“Noel Noel: A French Christmas,” one of the Boston Camerata’s best-loved holiday programs, is returning to the Boston area after an absence of nearly a decade.
Under French-born Anne Azéma’s direction, the reknowned early music ensemble once again performs favorite holiday works from the Middle Ages to the early Baroque. Included will be magnificent music from the Beauvais Cathedral, the countrysides of Poitou and Provence, the chapels of Burgundy, and, of course, the festive places of Renaissance Paris.
Camerata’s superb lineup of vocal soloists will be augmented by an ensemble of early wind instruments — cornets, shawms, sackbuts, and recorders. “Wait til you hear our wind band,” remarks Anne Azéma. “They are guaranteed to bring a gust of holiday joy.”
