Anne Azéma shares some thoughts…
“Nueva” brass players
Brian Kay, Steve Lundahl, Liza Malamut (trombones) and Chris Belluscio (cornetto) are Camerata favorites, joining us for American Christmas last season as well as other programs. They have performed with period ensembles including Boston Baroque, Handel and Haydn Society, and many others across the US and Europe. Their glorious sound will bring you across the centuries to the great cathedral in Oaxaca!
We look forward to bringing “Nueva”
to Ashmont next weekend!
The Dorchester Reporter announces:
“Nueva España” concert by The Boston Camerata at Ashmont’s All Saints’ Church, 209 Ashmont St., Dorchester, brings to life once again the ancient colonial music of Mexico, Peru and Bolivia in an unforgettable blend of Spanish, Native American, and African styles. 3pm.

“What was Anne Boleyn’s taste in music? Who were her favourite composers? And what would this music have originally sounded like? Conductor David Skinner has set himself the task of finding out.”
