Thank you to everyone who took our survey over the past two weeks! The Camerata is committed to building upon our 60+ year history of unique programs and audience engagement, and we value your input.
As promised, here is a summary of the results:
- 89% of those surveyed reported that they had experienced online musical events since the start of the pandemic; almost all of them reported that it was a positive experience (87% of survey population). Many said that while they enjoyed the music, it wasn’t the same as a live concert.
- A majority of those surveyed were interested in online events to be created by the Camerata (69% interested, 27% maybe interested, 2% not interested, 2% don’t know).
- Asked if they would prepay to watch and listen to our events, 42% said yes, 44% said maybe, 10% said no, and 4% wasn’t sure. However, 65% said they were “very likely” to make a voluntary contribution after the performance in place of a prepaid “ticket.”
- Over 70% would prefer to pay $35 or less for a prepaid “ticket” or as a voluntary contribution.
Your invaluable responses will help us to make decisions about future seasons, and to shape other coming events as well. Philosopher Anne, at her Artistic Director’s desk, adds: “Media content is, of course, different from live performance. For each activity, we plan to find a way! Let’s have all our future projects flow beautifully and into their natural artistic matrix.” Stay tuned to see and hear what those words might mean!
