A lifelong music lover, Mr. Pelter, has been a Boston Camerata Board member since 2009, initially joining as Treasurer. He was elected President in 2011 serving multiple terms. He has applied a rigorous professionalism to the demands of a constantly evolving organisation. Under his leadership the Camerata developed and funded several major new programs, including The Play of Daniel.

He has held executive leadership roles in sales, marketing and finance in the information technology and energy conservation fields. Currently retired, he has served as a board member and trustee for several non-profit and arts organizations. He splits his time between the Washington, DC area and Florida.
